Role Description We are looking for a SAIPA-qualified Senior Accountant to own the full accounting function for a portfolio of US-based clients. This is not a data-entry role — it requires someone who takes initiative, thinks critically about the numbers, and can run an organized, efficient close process without being told what to do each day. You will work directly with F9's Managing Partner, with visibility into real business financials across multiple industries. As our client base grows, so does the opportunity for the right person. Role Description We are currently seeking a talented Tax Accountant or Senior Tax Accountant to join our firm. As a Tax Accountant or Senior Tax Accountant, you will provide tax compliance and consulting services to a wide variety of exempt organizations, foundations, and other tax-exempt entities. You'll collaborate with an experienced team of exempt organization tax specialists to deliver an exceptional experience to clients while developing deep technical expertise in a highly specialized area of tax practice. • Supervise and develop staff accountants by setting deadlines, clearing roadblocks, and providing detailed review feedback • Review financial statements prepared by associates in QuickBooks Online and other accounting platforms • Create, review, and deliver high-quality, timely financial statements, including dashboards, KPIs, and forecasts, to clients while building and maintaining strong client relationships • Serve as a trusted advisor, consulting with clients regularly via Zoom, phone, and email, and when needed, resolve concerns • Provide additional services to clients, including conducting weekly or monthly oversight calls and providing ad hoc reporting and analysis • Lead client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into our processes • At year-end, provide a seamless and clean hand-off of client books to our tax team for tax return preparation
