Role Description We seek a dedicated Litigation Support Manager to join our Forensic & Valuation Services Advisory team. In this role you will: - Oversee engagements from planning through completion. - Supervise staff. - Interface directly with attorneys and clients. - Support expert testimony through the preparation of defensible analyses, reports, and exhibits. The Litigation Support Manager is responsible for managing and delivering financial analyses in connection with: - Commercial litigation - Marital dissolution - Shareholder disputes - Other matters involving economic damage and business valuation This role applies accounting, valuation, and economic principles to assist attorneys and clients in dispute resolution and litigation. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, valuation, or dispute-related advisory services. - Strong understanding of economic damages concepts, business valuation principles, and financial analysis. - Demonstrated experience managing engagements and supervising staff. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - CPA required; ABV, CFF, CVA, ASA, CFE, MAFF or similar credential strongly preferred. - Experience with marital dissolution and family law engagements. - Prior experience supporting expert testimony, depositions, or trial proceedings. - Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. - Ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines. - Client-service mindset within an expert services framework. Requirements - Manage litigation support and valuation engagements throughout the engagement lifecycle. - Serve as day‑to‑day contact for attorneys, clients, and internal engagement teams. - Identify issues, risks, and assumptions relevant to damages and valuation analyses. - Direct and perform analyses related to lost profits, lost earnings, and other economic damages. - Apply accepted economic and accounting methodologies. - Review financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting records. - Prepare clear, well‑documented schedules and analyses. - Manage valuation engagements for closely held businesses. - Assist with normalization adjustments and reasonable compensation analyses. - Assist in the preparation of expert reports and supporting exhibits. - Ensure analyses and workpapers are complete and well‑organized. - Coordinate document support for expert testimony. - Supervise, coach, and review the work of associates and senior associates. - Provide technical guidance on damages methodologies and documentation standards. - Other duties as assigned. Role Description Blue Benefits Consulting, Inc., an affiliate of Blue & Co., LLC, is seeking an experienced retirement plan administrator to join our client-facing team. You will contribute to an expanding practice that welcomes innovation and plays a role in all phases of retirement plan administration, primarily 401(k), but including cash balance/401(k) paired plans. This role can be fully remote. - Administration of key or large clients; assistance with annual audits. - Review compliance and administration work performed by others. - Client and advisor relationship development and maintenance. - Review and interpret plan documents to ensure compliance with DOL and IRS requirements. - Trust accounting and asset reconciliation. - Calculate and allocate annual employer contribution and forfeitures, review eligibility and complete vesting determinations. New Comparability understanding required. - Compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, non-discrimination, coverage and top heavy. - Preparation of annual valuation and Form 5500 filing. - Assist with plan design and new business development. Qualifications - 5+ years’ experience with qualified retirement plan administration, Third Party Administrator preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. - Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credentials through American Society of Pension Professionals of America (ASPPA). - Solid understanding of recordkeeping software; FT Williams (Plan Documents, Government Forms (5500), and Compliance Testing and Reporting) and PensionPro. - Good communication skills with clients, contacts, and advisors. - Understanding of plan design and composition of qualified plan documents. - Experience with balance forward & daily valuation (Platform) plans. - Superior attention to detail and organizational skills; must be a self-starter. - Experienced in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
