What You'll Do: - Software Development: - Build, enhance, and scale the ZoneApprovals and ZoneCapture using modern web development technology. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. - Leverage our proprietary UI dev. kit and SDK—built on top of NetSuite and enhanced with TypeScript, linting, automated testing, and documentation generation. - Testing & Debugging: - Design and execute test cases to ensure feature reliability and performance. - Write and maintain unit tests to validate functionality and prevent regressions. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bugs in existing functionality. - Team Collaboration: - Partner with other engineers, product managers, and QA to define and refine features. - Collaborate with our UX team to refine designs and engineer technical solutions to implement contemporary and scalable UI into our SuiteApps within NetSuite. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of learning and improvement. - Share development best practices and tools across teams. - Participate in sprint ceremonies and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement. - Documentation & Continuous Improvement: - Document systems, architecture, and features clearly. - Stay current with new tools and techniques, and suggest improvements to development processes. - Gain product familiarity through live demos, documentation, and hands-on experimentation. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, ideally in a SaaS environment. - Strong proficiency in NetSuite SuiteCloud development, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Full-stack skillset with a strong emphasis on crafting modern user interfaces, with a readiness to engage in backend development. - Comfortable working in remote, distributed teams using modern development tools - including Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for leveraging GenAI tooling to work smarter and more efficiently. - Solid understanding of web services (REST, SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns. - Proficiency in HTML/CSS and general web development fundamentals. - Experience with js. - Experience with io (or similar) test automation frameworks is a bonus. - Experience working in Scrum teams is a plus. - Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, curious, and ready to learn. - Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
