Professional Services Implementation Specialist

Role Description Commvault is seeking a skilled Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services organization, reporting to the Area Services Manager. This role is responsible for delivering solution deployments to customers across the United States and Canada, ensuring successful implementation and high levels of customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in customer-facing environments and enjoys solving complex data protection challenges. You will work directly with clients to understand their requirements, design and deploy solutions, and ensure systems are properly configured and optimized. We are looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes while building trusted relationships with customers. - Partner directly with customers to review requirements, define solutions, and execute deployments - Deliver implementation services aligned to scope defined by the client and sales teams - Design, deploy, and configure Commvault solutions in enterprise environments - Perform system installations and upgrades - Lead data migration and onboarding initiatives - Conduct environment assessments and health checks - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolution during implementation - Validate completed work to ensure accurate configuration and alignment with customer expectations - Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction throughout the implementation lifecycle Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in data protection or backup and recovery environments - 2+ years of consulting or customer-facing experience - Experience with enterprise storage hardware such as HDS, Dell EMC, NetApp, Oracle, or Quantum - Working knowledge of cloud storage platforms including Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud - Proficiency in backup and recovery for Microsoft SQL, Exchange, and SharePoint - Experience with storage systems including SAN, NAS, object, and cloud storage - Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux - Technical exposure to databases such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms - Hands-on experience with Commvault or comparable data protection solutions - Understanding of SaaS-based data protection models - Strong communication and presentation skills - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills - Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments Requirements - Preferred qualifications include Commvault certifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Benefits - Continuous professional development and product training - Clear career growth and advancement opportunities - Inclusive company culture - Comprehensive global benefits package
