Associate Director, Site Contracts Budgets and Payments
Deciphera Pharmaceuticals
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary escalation point for global site contracts, budgets, and payments • Lead development of investigator grant budgets, payment terms, and contracting strategies • Oversee contract tracking, documentation, and compliance across internal systems and external partners • Provide oversight and support to study teams and CROs throughout feasibility, startup, maintenance, and closeout • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and CROs to drive efficient study startup and lifecycle execution • Contribute and participate in bid defenses, joint operating committees (JOCs), kickoff meetings, and other program-level discussions • Lead department initiatives, process improvements, and mentor team members • Travel up to 25% as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience negotiating global site agreements within an outsourced model
- Deep expertise in site contract templates, investigator budgets, payment terms, and contracting plans
- Strong experience managing CROs and serving as an escalation lead
- Proven ability to deliver strategic, solution-oriented support across internal and external stakeholders
- Global experience in study startup and maintenance, preferably within Oncology
- Experience working in Phase I, II, III, and IV trials
- Excellent communication, organizational, and influencing skills with strong attention to detail
- Preferred Direct people management and/or mentoring experience
- Sponsor experience or fully embedded to Sponsor.
