Insurance Product Operations Lead
Branch
• Develop and maintain clear, consistent internal communications for Product initiatives, leadership updates, and cross-departmental projects • Draft executive-level messaging, presentations, briefs, and talking points to support strategic initiatives • Prepare regular reports and presentations on initiative status, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. • Support the development of comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, to guide the successful execution of strategic initiatives. • Create standardized communication templates, toolkits, and documentation to ensure consistency across the Product organization • Serve as a communications bridge between Product and internal partners such as Sales, Marketing, Claims, Finance, and the Branch Leadership Team • Lead and coordinate cross-departmental projects from concept through execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables and accountability are clear • Establish and maintain project management systems, workflows, and reporting structures • Facilitate project kickoffs, check-ins, and retrospectives to keep teams aligned and informed • Track progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and proactively recommend solutions • Identify gaps in workflow, communications, or decision-making and propose practical solutions • Act as a thought partner to Product leadership on organizational effectiveness and change management • Translate high-level strategy into clear tactics for the Product teams • Ensure alignment between leadership vision and day-to-day execution across Product teams
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in communications, project management, operations, or a related role
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Comfort working with executive leadership and influencing without direct authority
- Preferred:
- Experience in insurance or financial services environments
- Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, etc.)
- Background in internal communications, change management, or operations
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving organization
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of tools, systems, and frameworks within a key function.
- Initiative-Driven: Leads projects or workstreams and independently drives results.
- Mentorship & Influence: Coaches others and contributes to team-wide growth and clarity.
