Role Description We are seeking a highly assertive and detail-oriented Bilingual Virtual Assistant to oversee fleet safety and compliance using Samsara. This role requires a strong professional who is comfortable taking charge. The client operates with a very straightforward communication style, meaning you must be entirely comfortable giving firm directives to movers and drivers rather than just offering polite reminders. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where direct communication is standard, this is the role for you. - Samsara Oversight: Continuously monitor the Samsara dashboard to ensure all drivers are properly logged into the system during their shifts. - DVIR Enforcement: Track and mandate the daily completion of Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) for all active vehicles. - Safety Management: Actively monitor, document, and manage safety events or infractions flagged by the system. - Direct Instruction: Confidently and firmly instruct field staff and movers on compliance protocols (e.g., stating "you must sign in right now" rather than "please remember to sign in"). - Operational Alignment: Ensure all field operations remain compliant with internal safety and tracking standards. Qualifications - Communication Style: Must have a highly assertive communication style. You must be comfortable taking charge and issuing direct, non-negotiable instructions to field crews. - Language Skills: Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish) to effectively communicate with and instruct a diverse workforce of drivers and movers. - Cultural Fit: Capable of thriving in a straightforward, no-nonsense work environment. - Technical Experience: Familiarity with fleet tracking and safety software; prior experience specifically with Samsara is highly preferred. - Core Traits: Unintimidated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
