We're looking for a Technology Engineer – ITSM Analysis & Resiliency to join our Enterprise Technology Services team in Hartford, CT (hybrid). In this role, you'll analyze incident trends and data across a broad set of technologies to drive improvements in the stability and resiliency of critical enterprise systems. You'll translate complex technical findings into clear, executive-ready presentations and reports that inform decision-making at various levels of leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong data analytics skills (Excel, PowerPoint), a self-driven work style, and a comfort with AI tools and prompt engineering to accelerate analysis and output quality. You'll collaborate broadly across ETS and business partners while working with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US. What Will You Do? - Strong proficiency with data analytics tools including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; experience with additional analytics or visualization platforms a plus. - Conduct data analysis across a broad set of information to drive improvements in the stability and resiliency of key technologies that support the Company and its Lines of Business (LOBs). - Perform trending and analysis of technology incidents, evaluating and making recommendations regarding themes and candidates for deeper analysis and root cause investigation Employ Data-Driven and Analytical Skills and Tools to do the following: - Complete data analysis across a broad set of information using Excel and other available tools to find common patterns/trends. - Analyze data in aggregate to identify broader issues, including those that may be less obvious. - Conduct deep Root Cause Analysis to identify the true source of problems (using tools like the 5 Whys). - Uncover and drive lessons learned. - Problem-solve and collaborate with other teams to uncover and assess information. - Identify ways to use automation for analysis and to drive solutions. - Exhibit natural curiosity and look for creative ways to obtain information to help solve problems. - Seek and identify practical solutions to recurring problems and remediation of systemic root causes. - Effectively identify proactive ways to detect and prevent issues. - Use team best practices, standards, and templates. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? - Strong proficiency with data analytics tools including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; experience with additional analytics or visualization platforms a plus. - Three years of experience in Technology preferred. - Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage, Cloud, as well as Operating Systems and software etc. preferred. - Knowledge of IT service management process discipline; ITIL familiarity a plus but not required. - Champion of AI adoption, and usage.
