Role Description We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Traffic Engineer to support transportation projects throughout Florida and Kentucky. Role Description Lead Optical Transceiver Firmware Engineer develops and maintains the embedded software for optical transceivers, ensuring they operate reliably and efficiently. This role requires a deep understanding of both hardware and software, with responsibilities including: - Writing, debugging, and testing firmware for optical transceivers, often using C or C++. - Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure the firmware works seamlessly with the transceiver's hardware. - Thoroughly testing firmware to ensure it meets performance and reliability requirements. - Debugging and resolving issues with firmware and hardware integration. - Optimizing firmware for speed, efficiency, and power consumption. - Maintaining detailed documentation of firmware code and functionality.
