Role Description We are in active build mode. The tech stack exists, but it needs to be owned, evolved, and scaled. This hire isn't a ticket-taker — they'll be the primary technical voice on the product, responsible for both keeping current systems running and making smart decisions about what gets built next. - The immediate priorities include migrating off third-party platforms to reduce cost and dependency. - Building internal tooling that centralizes operations. - Integrating AI-driven workflows that improve the patient experience. - Long term, this person will help architect the infrastructure needed to scale. Key Responsibilities - Frontend & Web: - Manage and maintain the current Webflow site; own the eventual migration to a custom-built solution hosted on AWS. - Build and iterate on intake forms, replacing the current third-party dependency with a proprietary solution. - Ensure a clean, performant patient-facing UI across all touchpoints. - Backend & Infrastructure: - Build and maintain backend systems that support telemedicine workflows — including scheduling, intake, and patient communications. - Lead migration from current infrastructure to AWS as the product scales. - Maintain system reliability and uptime across all environments. - AI & Agentic Systems: - Build agentic dashboards that consolidate data and workflows into a centralized operating layer. - Integrate and extend OpenAI API usage across patient-facing and internal workflows. - Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI tooling. - Integrations & Automation: - Build and manage webhooks and integrations within GoHighLevel for patient communication flows. - Connect third-party tools and internal systems so data moves cleanly without manual intervention. - Own the integration layer as the tech stack expands. Qualifications - 4+ years of full stack development experience. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; comfortable across frontend and backend. - Hands-on experience with Webflow — including CMS, custom code, and migrations. - Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, or equivalent services). - Demonstrated experience building or consuming REST APIs and webhooks. - Familiarity with OpenAI APIs or equivalent LLM tooling. - Experience with CRM or automation platforms (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or similar). - Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment. - EST or CST timezone overlap (Latin America-based candidates strongly preferred). Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in telemedicine, health tech, or a regulated consumer health brand. - Experience migrating from no-code/low-code platforms (Webflow, Embeddables) to custom builds. - Familiarity with HIPAA compliance considerations in product development. - Experience building internal dashboards or admin tooling. - Background working directly with a non-technical founder or small leadership team. Ideal Candidate Profile - You are a self-directed engineer who doesn't need a product manager to tell you what to build next. - You've worked in early-stage environments before and understand what it means to own a stack rather than contribute to one. - You're comfortable being the only engineer in the room — making architectural decisions, managing competing priorities, and communicating technical tradeoffs to non-technical leadership clearly. - You take pride in clean, scalable work, but you also know when to ship. - You're energized by the idea of building something from the ground up rather than inheriting a mature codebase, and you want a front-row seat as the company grows.
