Vous ne suivrez pas simplement une fiche technique — vous aurez une voix déterminante dans notre direction audio, expérimentant des systèmes innovants pour rendre notre gameplay de tir incroyablement viscéral. Nous croyons en une grande autonomie et prise en main des dossiers; Vous serez un véritable acteur de l'identité sonore de notre projet et de la culture de notre studio. Responsabilités - Création de bout en bout : Concevez, montez et implémentez des éléments audio de haute qualité (SFX, couches d'ambiance, interface utilisateur et audio cinématique) qui correspondent à la vision créative du jeu. - Intégration dans le moteur de développement : Intégrez l'audio directement dans UE5 en utilisant Wwise, assurant ainsi une performance optimale et une exécution technique. - Collaboration interdisciplinaire : Collaborer avec des programmeurs audio pour concevoir des systèmes interactifs, et coordonner avec les producteurs et les responsables pour la gestion des listes d'assets et les livrables. - Gestion de pipeline : Soyez votre propre responsable de livrer vos tâches audio personnelles, vos horaires et votre documentation technique. - Enregistrement sur le terrain et en studio : Capturez du matériel source unique via des sessions d'enregistrement en studio et sur place pour élargir notre bibliothèque propriétaire. Qualifications - Expérience dans l'industrie : 3+ ans d'expérience professionnelle en audio dans le domaine du jeu vidéo, avec au moins un titre livré utilisant Wwise et un moteur de jeu commercial. - Maîtrise technique : Solide expérience pratique avec les DAW modernes (Reaper, Pro Tools, etc.), les plugins audio et les méthodologies d'implémentation audio interactive. - Connaissance du moteur : Bonne compréhension des flux de travail de UE5. - Écoute critique : Un portfolio diversifié démontrant une grande attention aux détails, de solides capacités de mixage et une compréhension approfondie de la narration sonore. - Contrôle de version : Familiarité avec les logiciels de gestion de versions (par exemple, Perforce). - Compétences interpersonnelles : Excellentes compétences en communication et un état d'esprit très collaboratif et axé sur la croissance. What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Mid-Level Sound Designer who excels at creating powerful, immersive, and tactile audio experiences. In this full-time role, you will be a driving force behind our game’s combat feedback, weapon mechanics, and sonic environment. You won't just follow a spec sheet—you’ll have a defining voice in our audio direction, experimenting with innovative systems to make our shooter gameplay feel incredibly visceral. We believe in high autonomy and high ownership; you will be a true stakeholder in the sonic identity of our project and the culture of our studio. Responsibilities - End-to-End Creation: Design, edit, and implement high-quality audio assets (SFX, ambient beds, UI, and cinematic audio) that align with the game's creative vision. - Engine Integration: Integrate audio directly into UE5 using Wwise, ensuring optimal performance and technical execution. - Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Partner with Audio Programmers to design interactive systems, and coordinate with producers and leads to manage asset lists and deliverables. - Pipeline Management: Own and track your personal audio tasks, schedules, and technical documentation. - Field & Studio Recording: Capture unique source material via studio and location field recording sessions to expand our proprietary library. Qualifications - Industry Experience: 3+ years of professional game audio experience, with at least one shipped title using Wwise and a commercial game engine. - Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with modern DAWs (Reaper, Pro Tools, etc.), audio plugins, and interactive audio implementation methodologies. - Engine Knowledge: Solid understanding of UE5 workflows. - Critical Listening: A diverse portfolio demonstrating high attention to detail, strong mixing capabilities, and a deep understanding of sonic storytelling. - Version Control: Familiarity with source control software (e.g., Perforce). - Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative, growth-oriented mindset. Nice-to-Haves - Experience in linear post audio is a plus. - Basic scripting knowledge or advanced UE5 Blueprint experience. Skills and Qualifications - 4-6 years of experience in design, preferably digital products or an agency background. - A strong portfolio demonstrating craft, systems thinking, and performance driven work. - Experience working within brand guidelines and applying design systems. - Ability to design for modern digital channels (social, paid media, lifecycle, and in-product) as well as an appetite to explore design solutions for new channels such as experiential. - Experience with AI tooling to accelerate design & prototyping (Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or similar) as part of your design workflow to assist in ideation, exploration, or other rapid production. - Build functional, interactive prototypes using AI-assisted code generation (when needed) to validate concepts with real interactions, not just static mocks — bringing testable experiences iin hours rather than weeks. - Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and an appetite to learn new ones - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Qualifications - Passion for outdoor recreation, fitness, or wellness — and a desire to inspire others to explore more. - Photography experience or passion that inspires day-to-day executions. - Familiarity working with other motion designers, videographers and photographers, or illustrators is a plus. What We Offer: Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $75,000 to $95,000.
