GLPI Developer

• Ensure the sustainable evolution of the GLPI platform (Community and/or Network), leading technical decisions, governance of customizations, and integration with other systems. • Define development standards for plugins and customizations: technically lead the evolution of the GLPI platform (Community and Network); ensure compatibility with future releases (upgrade-safe). • Avoid dependence on hacks or direct modifications to the core. • Define strategy for: use of official plugins; adoption of GLPI Network. • Create and maintain structured technical documentation. • Plan version upgrades (especially critical in GLPI). Evaluate the impact of: new releases; plugins; architectural changes. • Ensure the technical roadmap is aligned with product and business goals. Define integration standards: REST APIs; Webhooks; Middleware (if necessary). Ensure consistency between GLPI and channels (Teams, WhatsApp, bots), directories (AD/LDAP) and legacy systems. • Develop and maintain GLPI plugins (PHP); manage versioning of plugins/customizations; create automation scripts and routines. • Implement adjustments to forms, tickets and rules. Fix bugs and issues. Implement API calls. • Configure authentication methods (tokens, OAuth, etc.); create integrations with bots, internal systems and external services. • Test new features: validate the impact of changes, perform user acceptance testing with users, and document features, integrations and technical procedures; update wikis or internal repositories.

Job Requirements

  • Solid experience in software development with a strong backend focus.
  • Hands-on experience with GLPI (Community and/or Network), including:
  • customization of business rules
  • development and maintenance of plugins
  • advanced platform administration
  • Knowledge of: REST API development; software architecture; databases; APIs and integrations; ITIL, ITSM, Service Desk.
  • Agile management experience (Scrum and Kanban); LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) and ethics in customer data handling; good communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement; practical knowledge of ITIL.
  • Differentials: GLPI certification (Community or Network); DevOps skills: Docker, CI/CD, Linux, Security; certifications in PHP, Linux, Cloud or DevOps; experience with process automation in service desks (ITSM).
