Field Service Engineer – AIS

• Perform complex field service operations with minimal guidance • Deliver exceptional services in installation, maintenance, and repairs • Exceed customer expectations by anticipating their needs • Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues • Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems independently • Develop potential sales and business opportunities • Suggest improvements to enhance operations and customer service • Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis
Job Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic or Electrical trades
- College or university degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset
- Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work
- Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV
- Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction
- Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews
- Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel extensively (80%)
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

• Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings • Servicing all types of valve sets • Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps • Conducting general service checks
• Provide direct support to a Northrop Grumman Maritime Targeting Cell (MTC) prototype system • Be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software • Support the Marines in the unit with system operations, employment, and routine maintenance • Execute hardware preventative maintenance, write procedures, perform Break/Fix, touch maintenance • Meet the requirements of DoD 8570.1-M at the IAT II or IAT III Level • Create discrepancy reports (DR’s) and provide weekly status reports to factory in Aurora, CO
