Field Service Engineer – AIS

Hitachi

• Perform complex field service operations with minimal guidance • Deliver exceptional services in installation, maintenance, and repairs • Exceed customer expectations by anticipating their needs • Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues • Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems independently • Develop potential sales and business opportunities • Suggest improvements to enhance operations and customer service • Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis

Job Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes
  • Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic or Electrical trades
  • College or university degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset
  • Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work
  • Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV
  • Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction
  • Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews
  • Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software
  • Valid US driver's license and ability to travel extensively (80%)
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
