Sprinkler Service Engineer

• Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings • Servicing all types of valve sets • Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps • Conducting general service checks
Job Requirements
- Experience in servicing all types of valve sets: Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action (essential)
- Experience of carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
- Experience of Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
- Must have a full UK driving license able to cover a regional role (essential)
- Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable)
- Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable)
- Experience in small works install (desirable)
- Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable)

Role Description We are seeking a skilled Retail-Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems across retail locations throughout the UK. - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive callouts, and emergency breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment, including: - Remote packs and condensing units - Cold rooms, chillers, and freezers - Integral display cabinets - HVAC/refrigeration hybrid systems (where applicable) - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration systems. - Perform installation and commissioning of new refrigeration equipment and systems. - Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures. - Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation via digital job management systems. - Provide excellent customer service on-site, liaising with clients, store managers, and head office contacts to ensure clear communication and timely updates. - Participate in an on-call rota to support emergency breakdowns outside of standard working hours. - Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Qualifications - F-Gas certification (Category 1) – essential. - NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. - Knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems (transcritical/subcritical) is highly desirable. - Full UK driving licence. Requirements - Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial refrigeration. - Experience within retail or commercial refrigeration systems preferred. - Familiarity with major refrigeration brands (Carrier, Hussmann, AHT, etc.).
