Role Description As a member of our growing team, the Presales / Design Engineer fulfills duties including, but not limited to, the following: - Work with clients to develop company-wide solutions that fit their business needs - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients - Assist clients in guiding corporate decisions based on data received about their current rooms - Conduct site surveys and assist in recommendations for new or upgraded builds - Stay current on new technology and keep existing clients informed of new technology that would benefit their business - Prepare Proposals, Scopes of Work, and Bill of Materials for all projects - Create and deliver infrastructure drawing packages - Create and deliver AV one line drawing packages - Lead internal peer-review meetings, verifying the scope, build, and cost of new projects - Work closely with Account Executives in managing all open opportunities - Create and manage new project repositories for internal teams - Assist in managing project costs, margins, and resourcing - Onsite visits to project locations (~25% travel required) - Maintain and update project trackers - Attend weekly project status review calls - Attend client facing project scope review meetings - Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Delivery Engineers, Field Supervisors, and Programmers - Exhibit personal responsibility, accountability, and teamwork - Must be able to work flexible hours as needed Qualifications - 8 Years of relevant experience - Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams and Teams Room Systems on both Android and Windows - Strong understanding of Q-SYS, Neat, Crestron, Logitech, Jabra, Biamp, Polycom, Cisco, and similar products - Strong understanding of AI automated camera tracking systems - Strong understanding of network-based AV distribution systems - Ability to create and understand AV system designs - Ambition/drive to learn new technologies or areas as needed for job requirements - Excellent customer service skills (external and internal clients/team members) - Must be willing to collaborate and work well with other team members - Eager, self-motivated, and capable of learning/understanding a complex environment quickly Requirements - Certifications: - Microsoft Teams Room (MS-700) - InfoComm CTS General - Q-SYS Level One - Q-SYS Control and UCI Advanced Lua Scripting - Q-SYS Vision Suite - Crestron Masters Certified Programmer - Biamp Tesira AV Processing and Distribution – Software Programming Lvl 02 - CAD and Drafting skills preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to maintain deadlines for multiple tasks - Ability to interact professionally with clients, account executives, and design architects - Strong understanding of IT networking - Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Lists, Excel, Word, One Note, PowerPoint, Planner) - Familiarity with Adobe Suite to create user interface guides Benefits - Competitive compensation package - Comprehensive group benefits to meet the needs of you and your family - Flexibility and time off when you need it - Casual work environment
