• Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. • Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under general managerial direction. • Negotiation of key tenders and large deals with in-depth technology distribution industry knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, services and solution. • Optimises results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives. • Orchestrating board level engagement activity that clearly addresses overall business objectives and multiple objectives. • Demonstrates a consistent ability to negotiate high level/high value customer opportunity engagements successfully. • Take solution and service offerings to market including TaaS. • Ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution. • Drives overall vendor management. • Seen as a consulting trusted advisor in helping the customer to set strategic business objectives. • Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share. • Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”. • Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best in class business continuity. • Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line. • Creates high impact value propositions for 'C' level discussions and decision making processes.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background
- Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling
- Strategic planning and business case development
- Experience of working within a matrix structure
- Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment
- Business planning experience with strong operational cadence
- Good emotional intelligence
- Influence and persuasion
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to articulate, persuade, influence favourable business outcomes in 'C' level scenarios.
- In-depth technology distribution industry knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, services and solutions.

• Sell geospatial intelligence products and solutions to defense OEMs and system integrators in Europe • Work closely with the Head of Europe on developing a strategy and a sales plan to build a robust pipeline • Utilize your existing network to identify opportunities in line with sales plan, as well as build and uphold relationships with senior OEM executives, military and Govt stakeholders across key accounts • Develop a clear understanding of customers’ requirements, budgets and decision-making process and be able to articulate those into a plan which you will communicate to the organization • Build internal relationships and liaise with teams across Maxar to put together solutions and develop proposals • Coordinate lead generation campaigns with your sales peers and marketing • Represent Maxar at tradeshows and public facing engagements
