Red Hat
• Manage other Architects and senior level Consultants • Craft a career path and mentor Principal Consultants and Architects reporting to you, completing Red Hat manager enablement in the process • Identify and translate team priorities into actionable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that show team progress towards goals • Assist the RMO with assignment of direct reports for Delivery Engagements and assign necessary technical talent to Pre-Sales opportunities within their business area • Apply Red Hat expertise and support the Service Delivery Lifecycle to scope and deliver consulting engagements with our customers successfully • Design and communicate Enterprise-level architectural roadmaps for Red Hat customers • Run workshops, demos, guide on best practices, and establish communities of practices/excellence at customer sites • Support strategic Services selling initiatives and opportunities, including executive stakeholder engagement to influence a customer’s adoption of solutions • Work closely with product business, product engineering, support, and sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience • Provide technical oversight and a point of escalation between clients and Red Hat • Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities in these engagements for customer success • Develop standard frameworks and methodologies to allow for repeatable Red Hat Consulting pre-sales and engagements • Drive delivery strategy and models as it relates to Services offerings, solutions and programs • Provide leadership and content towards centers of excellence and promoted standards • Attain in-depth knowledge of Red Hat technologies by taking Red Hat enablement and completing learning paths.
Job Requirements
- Experience with people management and building out a highly functioning team of consulting experts
- Leading teams of highly technical talent
- Experience leading successful technical consulting engagements
- Demonstrated track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
- Experience with instrumenting, collecting, and radiating development and operational metrics
- Ability to apply Red Hat Solutions to meet the needs of Red Hat customers
- Experience in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of enterprise architecture and application runtimes, enterprise container architectures and solutions (Red Hat OpenShift or competing technologies), Linux, and deploying and running container solutions in private, public, and hybrid clouds
- Broad and deep technical experience of Red Hat products, including but not limited to: Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Ansible, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenStack Platform / Services on OpenShift (RHOSP / RHOSO)
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Applied knowledge and experience working in agile, scrum, and DevOps teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
