Territory Sales Representative – Golf

• Responsible for driving sales of company golf apparel products and services within the assigned territory by engaging established customers and cultivating new prospects to deliver profitable and sustainable growth • Maintains strong one-on-one relationships to ensure customer awareness and satisfaction through expert product knowledge, timely updates, and consistent alignment with company objectives and quality standards • Operates within the scope of corporate policies to achieve defined sales goals and contribute to overall business success • Own and manage all aspects of account planning, in-field activation, and territory sales execution to achieve annual booking and revenue targets • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and consumers, delivering high service levels and fostering long-term partnerships • Promote and sell company products and services within the assigned territory, focusing on top revenue-generating accounts while maintaining best-in-class service across the board • Ensure timely order writing, proactively manage the open order book, and oversee all sales activities in alignment with trade investment programs • Activate key product and brand stories at retail to drive consumer engagement and sell-through • Conduct product knowledge sessions and educational seminars for accounts; represent the brand at sales meetings, trade shows, and consumer events • Provide regular market insights and feedback to Sales Leadership, including competitor activity and customer trends • Submit accurate territory forecasts and weekly activity reports; maintain detailed records of sales performance, customer interactions, and account status • Manage sales-related budgets (T&E, seeding, allowances) and support inventory control through communication of supply and pricing trends • Address customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams to resolve product or service issues • Offer strategic input on product needs and enhancements based on customer feedback and market dynamics

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of inside/outside sales experience, preferably within the golf industry (soft goods preferred)
  • University or college graduate in related field preferred
  • Direct sales experience and a proven track record for delivering results
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with diverse account base
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while working autonomously
  • Very strong work ethic
  • Working knowledge of the golf industry and understanding key players within the market
  • Proficiency in software applications such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Virtual Sales tools
  • Ability to travel on a regional basis, up to 45% of the time
  • Ability to lift and carry samples/products weighing up to 30lbs
