Peripheral Territory Manager

Penumbra, Inc.

• Responsibility for the sustainable development and targeted expansion of the sales territory • Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with hospitals and interventional physicians in radiology, vascular surgery and cardiology • Provide technical consultation and clinical support for the use of Penumbra’s innovative products • Independently execute product launches and deliver compelling presentations to clinicians and procurement teams • Conduct strategic analysis, develop and further grow existing accounts and identify new market opportunities • Build and maintain close relationships with relevant healthcare decision-makers and key opinion leaders • Implement regional sales and marketing strategies with a high degree of autonomy • Actively support interventional procedures and provide hands-on assistance in the clinical environment • Represent Penumbra at congresses, workshops and professional events

Job Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or university degree in medicine, life sciences or business administration
  • Several years of sales experience with strong closing skills and proven ability to systematically develop new business opportunities
  • Very good understanding of clinical workflows and ability to establish sustainable, trust-based relationships in a hospital environment
  • Ideally, experience in the cath lab with a focus on the cardiovascular area (vascular surgery, peripheral)
  • Experience in systematically building and developing sales territories
  • Strong interest in innovative MedTech solutions and their clinical application in the interventional setting
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication and presentation skills when interacting with clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • High learning agility and ability to quickly and methodically master complex medical-technical content
  • Team-oriented personality with a strong hands-on mentality and proven ability to execute in the field
  • Structured, independent and reliable working style with a high degree of personal responsibility and prioritization skills
  • Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the sales territory
