Account Executive, Portfolio, LATAM

Role Description As an OpenText Account Executive covering Latin America, you will be a product, services, software, or solution specialist responsible for leading pursuit in your assigned focus areas, specifically all Portfolio solutions with the exception of Magellan. You will drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline and use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. - Actively prospect within accounts and develop channels to discover or cultivate solution sales opportunities. - Establish professional, working, and consultative relationships with clients by developing a core understanding of their unique business needs. - Work with clients up to IT management level. Qualifications - Proven track record of achieving progressively higher sales quotas across diverse business customers. - Experience managing and growing a sales pipeline, from lead generation through deal closure. - Ability to prospect within accounts and uncover new solution sales opportunities in collaboration with account teams. - Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to establish trusted relationships and understand customer business needs. - Experience working with IT stakeholders and navigating mid-to-large account environments. - Fluency or proficiency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish is essential. - Typically 3+ years of experience in specialty or solution sales. Requirements - Manage sales pipeline. - Formulate and expand solutions to generate additional product or service attachments and upsell revenue. - Develop channels in LATAM with a strong focus on selling through the channel. - Contribute to building pipeline by generating leads, referrals, and new customer opportunities within the specialty area. - Opportunity to grow contractual renewals for small-to-mid size accounts to higher total contract value renewals. - Interface with internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution development. - Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through effective knowledge transfer.
