Role Description This position has the responsibility to develop relationships with new clients for Yellow Pages. Working as part of our National Upsell team, you will contribute to our success by implementing proven initiatives to grow revenues, as well as bring new ideas and innovative strategies to upsell our newly acquired customer base. - The majority of your focus (90%) is upselling to newly acquired YP customers — identifying growth opportunities and expanding programs across a large, freshly onboarded customer pool. - The remaining 10% is dedicated to building your own book of business: the accounts you personally upsell become yours to account manage, renew, and continue to grow over time, measured against an assignment net gain target. - You will work closely with our Telesales team and Face-to-Face Account Managers to help facilitate a positive customer journey for our newly acquired customers, as well as for existing advertisers that we grow. - You will not be working with an existing book of business but rather identifying new acquisition and growth opportunities from a large pool of newly acquired YP customers — and then nurturing, renewing, and expanding the accounts you bring in! Qualifications - Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in sales and media advertising. - Diploma/degree in Business, Marketing or Education an asset. - Working knowledge & aptitude to learn search engine marketing, optimization & social media advertising. - BILINGUALISM in French and English is required. - Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and effective time management. - Strong ability to work independently to manage and prioritize tasks to deliver desired outcomes. - Understanding and/or aptitude to learn CRM software.
