Senior Program Manager

Natera

• Provide cross-functional program leadership to launch new products and improve existing ones. • Utilize project management tools to drive high level collaboration and coordination with various business functions and cross-teams. • Track progress and provide detailed status reports to management. • Oversee the successful execution and coordination of customer, internal and external deliverables across all clinical domains. • Create, implement, and monitor project plans and task assignments, schedules, work hours, budgets, expenses, and stakeholder participation with external partners. • Create and manage program and project-specific KPIs and provide adequate methods for reporting program and project-specific KPIs to all relevant stakeholders. • Track data project requests and ensure project and deliverables timelines are established and accomplished on time. • Develop project strategies and plans for executing program/department level and specific customer level at the project/program management level. • Ensure timeline receipt and submission of invoices, and the tracking of billable hours across all consultants, stakeholders, and staff. • Create or develop and manage project and project data reports, workflows, documentation, and other projects/program artifacts. • Create and establish workflows and processes for managing applications, data storages, and files containing project, program, and team documentation and reports. • Drive decisions on priority, timelines, work assignments, and project collaterals. • Lead project intake meetings with customers, internal and external, and key team stakeholders to kick-off projects and collect requirements. • Function as the first point of escalation of delays, blockers, and issues related to project/data operation timelines. • Create presentations and provide overviews of deliverables and project timelines to various levels of stakeholders and customers, internal and external.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: Masters degree in health sciences, bioinformatics, or business field related to management, at minimum (could be supplemented with experience).
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum of 6-7 years of experience providing project or program management leadership and skills to projects handling clinical data, clinical research, or clinical information.
  • Minimum of 4-5 experience hosting and leading meetings, project standup ceremonies, coordinating project timelines.
  • Operations Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years of operations management in start-up and fast-paced environments desired.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, creating pivot tables, generating reports, data analysis, JIRA, SmartSheets. Managing multiple calendars and other project management and tracking systems.
  • Certifications/Industry Expertise: PMP, at minimum, is required.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize and organize tasks, and meet strict productivity and quality deadlines.
