As a Solutions Engineer in our product organization you’ll have the chance to work closely with Sales, Account Managers, and Sales Engineering to scope client analytics opportunities, as well as work closely with Data Science, Analysts, and Engineering to deliver on scoped projects. In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following: - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions - Build end-to-end pipelines including data ingestion, preprocessing, and deployment - Work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to ensure successful implementation - Developing rapid prototypes by leveraging the latest AI technologies - Provide technical guidance, demos, and support during pre-sales and post-deployment phases Key skills: - Strong programming skills in Python (experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL - Experience with developing production workflows on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and using API feeds. - Familiarity with data engineering concepts and prior experience handling large datasets with big data tools like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery is desired. - Solid understanding of ML concepts: Predictive analytics (supervised/unsupervised learning), model evaluation, feature engineering. - Strong problem-solving and project management skills - Exposure to AI tools like Replit, Retool is a bonus - Good communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams We’ve highlighted some key skills, experience and requirements for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. While the base range of this position is within $100,000 - $150,000, the actual on target earnings of the role are in the $150,000 - $217,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures. Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with MiQ’s Talent team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages.
