Harmonic
• Position and sell Harmonic’s broadband products, solutions and services • Work with the customer to develop and document end-to-end network solutions aligned with their business requirements and industry best practices. • Understand customer requirements and collaborate with the product and engineering team to address issues and deliver feature requirements. • Work with customers to integrate Harmonic’s Cloud Native solution in their existing network and support them to migrate to a next generation DAA network. • Collaborate with and provide customers and prospects technical, experience-based leadership to design and architect solutions to meet their needs • Deliver technical sales-oriented presentations to technical staff at customers and prospects • Work with Harmonic partners to train and understand technical key advantages of Harmonic’s Cloud Native solution • Position Harmonic as the industry thought leader. • Work closely with Sales, and Product leaders to ensure that coverage and activity matches the business need. • Assist with technical responses for RFx’s. • Use of Harmonic’s standardized applications (e.g. SalesForce, JIRA, Confluence) to optimize the execution of the position deliverables.
Job Requirements
- BS /BA
- A minimum of 10 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required within the market sectors and accounts targeted.
- Experience in the Cable MSO industry
- Understanding and experience with data networking infrastructures, converged interconnect networks, and the associated technologies: DOCSIS, Routing/Switching, L2/L3, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing Protocols (BGP/ISIS/OSPF, etc.), MPLS, LDP, VPN, Multicast, cloud technologies, DHCP, Network Troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of common toolsets for configuration, management, and monitoring of OLT’s including but not limited to CLI, SNMP, NETCONF, RESTCONF, Telemetry, Kafka
- In depth knowledge of CIN networking and DOCSIS standard.
- Experience with Linux, k8s, docker
- Strong customer facing and relationship management skills with appropriate negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop creative technical sales positioning and solution selling methods to suit demanding sales situations.
- Use of Harmonic’s standardized applications (e.g. SalesForce) to optimize the execution of the position deliverables.
- Ability to build relationships with all functions and areas of the company both within region and globally as well as a track record of respected and trusted relationships with customers in the industry.
