Motion is creating the command center for creative strategists: an AI-driven analytics and intelligence platform that bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams, helping them uncover what's working, what's not, and ultimately ship more winning ads across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok. Today, Motion is trusted by some of the world’s top e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands and agencies (including Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, and HexClad) and has analyzed over $14 billion in media spend. We're growing fast (2.5x year-over-year and now 70+ team members), our product is sticky, and with a recent $30M Series B raise, we're just getting started.

Job Description
Executive IC, Product
Motion
Role Description Somewhere on the way up, you stopped building the product and started running the people who built it. It was the right call at the time: leading PMs was how you turned one person's judgment into a whole team's output. But the thing that made that trade worth it has flipped. A product person who builds and ships directly can now move faster, and have a larger impact, than the org they used to run. We want someone who has operated at that altitude and would rather be back at the keyboard, taking an area of the product from first idea to live in customers' hands, and setting the pace by doing it. What you'd be doing: - Owning a meaningful surface of Motion's product end-to-end, from strategy through launch, iteration, and scale. - Moving from idea to shipped product by staying closer to the customer and the build than anyone else. - Setting the product cadence through your own output and raising the bar by showing what's possible. Qualifications - A strong product track record, including leading teams at scale and building products that people genuinely use and love. - A way of working that's already built around AI. - Sharp product instincts and a clear point of view on how AI is changing the way things are built. - The mindset of someone who could start a company but would rather join one that's already moving fast. Benefits - Competitive compensation package, including equity for all employees. - Health benefits from day one. - A monthly health & lifestyle stipend to support your well-being. - 20 days of PTO. - A $1,500 work-from-home stipend. - Remote-first with hybrid flexibility. - Opportunity for impact as an early team member. - Award-winning team, ranked #19 on G2's list of Best Canadian Software Companies for 2026. - Team connection through virtual and in-person gatherings.

Role Description We're hiring someone who has run engineering at scale and is choosing to come back to the trenches, own a customer-facing surface end-to-end, and set the bar for what one person can build. - Owning a meaningful surface of Motion's product end-to-end and setting the quality bar by shipping it yourself. - Using AI tooling to operate with the leverage of a whole team and helping shape how AI is used across the engineering organization. - Raising the craft and velocity of the engineering team by example, not by managing it. Qualifications - A long track record of building and shipping software, including leading engineering organizations at scale while remaining deeply hands-on. - A development workflow already built around AI coding agents, where tools like Claude Code and Cursor are second nature. - The judgment to make big technical calls and the ability to implement them yourself. - The mindset of someone who could start a company but would rather join one that's already moving fast. Requirements - Experience with our tech stack: React, Node.js with Express, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Azure. - Award-winning team ranked #19 on G2's list of Best Canadian Software Companies for 2026. - Team connection through virtual and in-person gatherings.

Role Description This is not a quota role where you wait for inbound leads and run playbook demos. You're the person who builds the engine from scratch and activates existing pipeline, hunting net new logos, running events, and building relationships with engineering leaders. You'll work directly with the founders, shape our entire GTM motion, and have real equity upside as an early team member. We expect all hires to be AI-native from day one, and be comfortable selling to a technical ICP. If you're a natural hunter who thrives in ambiguity and wants to be a foundational part of a company building in a highly competitive and lucrative space, keep reading. What You'll Do - Own the full sales cycle end to end from cold outreach to booking/running demos & trials. - Consistently follow up with active leads on a daily basis and find ways to unblock deals stuck in our pipeline. - Build and manage your own pipeline using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, HeyReach, Instantly and other applicable AI tools and workflows. - Reach out to leads through cold calling to activate new pipeline, unblock deals, and fill events. - Come up with new GTM strategies and experiments to test every month. Have a structured approach to tracking what works, what doesn’t, how much it’ll cost and its potential impact on our pipeline. - Run high-quality product demos with engineering leaders, VPs of Engineering, and CTOs translating Optibot's technical value into business outcomes they care about (no noise, thoughtful and quality code reviews, security coverage). - Attend and represent Optimal AI at dinners, conferences, and industry events. You're the face of the company in the market. - Co-host and help fill our engineering leader dinner series working with the team on guest lists, outreach copy, and booking pre-event calls through email and cold calling. - Feed product insights learned from leads directly back to the founding team. - Keep your pipeline clean in our CRM, no deal goes dark without a clear next step. Qualifications - Proficiency with AI-native sales tools like Clay, HeyReach, Instantly, Claude, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or equivalent. You use AI to work smarter. - 2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience. - A hunter mentality meaning you build your own pipeline, write your own sequences, and don't wait to be told what to do. - Exceptional communication and demo skills. You can walk an engineering leader through a technical product, do pain discovery and make them feel the pain of not having it. Major Plus - Experience selling developer tools, code quality, security, or AI products. - Experience at an early-stage startup where you had to build the sales motion from scratch. - Familiarity with the dev tools landscape. You've heard of Claude code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor. - Experience selling to technical buyers like engineering leaders, CTOs, VPs Eng. What We Offer - Founding team equity, you're early, you'll be rewarded for it. - Direct line to the founders. - The chance to define how we sell and who we sell to. - A front-row seat at one of the most interesting companies in the AI dev tools space.
