Role Description We're building out our events and GTM engine and we need a sharp, creative operator to own it. You'll be responsible for making sure our events, engineering leader dinners, virtual shows, and community gatherings are consistently full, high-quality, and running like clockwork. You'll also support our outbound pipeline with lead research, copywriting, videos, and campaign execution. You will be expected to work Pacific hours, synced with our San Francisco HQ. This role sits at the intersection of events, sales ops, and video content. If you love building systems, writing copy that converts, and making things look great, this is your seat. What You'll Do - Events: - Collaborate on end-to-end logistics for our dinner series and virtual events like venue coordination, getting guest lists sorted, RSVPs, run of show, name tags, and day-of execution. - Use Clay, Heyreach, Instantly, Luma and other lead generation tools to build targeted invite lists and fill rooms consistently. - Write outreach copy and event messaging that gets people to show up. - Cold calling event attendees to confirm attendance and get pre calls booked. - Content & Design: - Edit video content for LinkedIn, YouTube, and event recaps using CapCut, Descript, Premiere Pro or any video editor to produce high quality content. - Create high-quality graphics, social assets, and event visuals using Canva, Gemini’s Nano Banana, and other AI tools. - Write copy for campaigns, event invites, LinkedIn posts, and Instantly/Heyreach outbound sequences. - Sales & Pipeline Support: - Build lead lists and prospect using Clay, Evaboot and similar tools. - Do lead research of deals in our pipeline that we would like to multithread into by finding other champions and mapping out the org and their pains using tools like Sales Navigator and AI like Claude. - Answering/replying to messages and emails from campaigns we are running in Heyreach and Instantly with the goal of getting demos booked in the calendar. - Support outbound campaigns across email and LinkedIn (managing sequences, tracking performance, flagging what's working). - Keep the CRM clean by updating records, flagging follow-ups, tracking pipeline activity. Qualifications - 1–3 years in events, sales ops, marketing coordination, or a similar fast-paced role. - Hands-on experience with Clay or similar lead gen/data enrichment tools. - Video editing skills with CapCut, Descript, Premiere Pro, or similar. - Strong copywriting and messaging skills (ie: you can write an invite that gets a yes). - Comfortable with AI tools (Canva, Gemini, ChatGPT, and whatever ships next). - PST availability: you need to overlap with our North American team during core hours. - Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple events and campaigns at once. - Startup experience or comfort with ambiguity is a strong plus.
Role Description This is not a quota role where you wait for inbound leads and run playbook demos. You're the person who builds the engine from scratch and activates existing pipeline, hunting net new logos, running events, and building relationships with engineering leaders. You'll work directly with the founders, shape our entire GTM motion, and have real equity upside as an early team member. We expect all hires to be AI-native from day one, and be comfortable selling to a technical ICP. If you're a natural hunter who thrives in ambiguity and wants to be a foundational part of a company building in a highly competitive and lucrative space, keep reading. What You'll Do - Own the full sales cycle end to end from cold outreach to booking/running demos & trials. - Consistently follow up with active leads on a daily basis and find ways to unblock deals stuck in our pipeline. - Build and manage your own pipeline using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, HeyReach, Instantly and other applicable AI tools and workflows. - Reach out to leads through cold calling to activate new pipeline, unblock deals, and fill events. - Come up with new GTM strategies and experiments to test every month. Have a structured approach to tracking what works, what doesn’t, how much it’ll cost and its potential impact on our pipeline. - Run high-quality product demos with engineering leaders, VPs of Engineering, and CTOs translating Optibot's technical value into business outcomes they care about (no noise, thoughtful and quality code reviews, security coverage). - Attend and represent Optimal AI at dinners, conferences, and industry events. You're the face of the company in the market. - Co-host and help fill our engineering leader dinner series working with the team on guest lists, outreach copy, and booking pre-event calls through email and cold calling. - Feed product insights learned from leads directly back to the founding team. - Keep your pipeline clean in our CRM, no deal goes dark without a clear next step. Qualifications - Proficiency with AI-native sales tools like Clay, HeyReach, Instantly, Claude, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or equivalent. You use AI to work smarter. - 2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience. - A hunter mentality meaning you build your own pipeline, write your own sequences, and don't wait to be told what to do. - Exceptional communication and demo skills. You can walk an engineering leader through a technical product, do pain discovery and make them feel the pain of not having it. Major Plus - Experience selling developer tools, code quality, security, or AI products. - Experience at an early-stage startup where you had to build the sales motion from scratch. - Familiarity with the dev tools landscape. You've heard of Claude code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor. - Experience selling to technical buyers like engineering leaders, CTOs, VPs Eng. What We Offer - Founding team equity, you're early, you'll be rewarded for it. - Direct line to the founders. - The chance to define how we sell and who we sell to. - A front-row seat at one of the most interesting companies in the AI dev tools space.
