The primary responsibility of Inside Sales Representative is advancing the sales of the company services products by telephone and occasional site visits. Telephone selling to a wide range of accounts. Achieves quarterly and annual Orders, Revenues and Compliance sales targets. Directly impacts on the coverage, growth and profitability of contract renewals, warranty conversion, T&M conversions, Cold Calling, Fixed Price Services and New Business and has indirect impact on contracts sold upfront with instruments. Your key responsibilities: - Proactively pursues all identified sales opportunities within the assigned territory through structured account planning, with the objective of meeting and exceeding targets. Utilizes consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions, including contract renewals, expansion (new business) within existing accounts, and the promotion of a portfolio of new services such as Training Courses, Bioinformatics Services, and Compliance Services. Leverages all relevant resources to effectively close sales in favor of the company. - Works together with product sales to optimize the sales of upfront contracts and coordinate the approach on accounts assigned to service management. - Participate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns, special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures. - Apply data sources to analyze and develop sales opportunities with the greatest ROI. Communicate key driven activities, market trends, and changing customer development plans and priorities. - Builds and maintains relationships with customers and potential customers in assigned territory to ensure services information is communicated and strategic and competitor information is gathered. Able to discuss customer workflows and relate customer's work to potential services the customer may need to be successful. - Accurately forecasts future business on a regular basis, or at the request of the Sales Leader. Starts negotiations early by planning activities well ahead and involves relevant functions such as Service Management, Instrument Sales and others. Makes best use of available tools to aid territory planning. - Maintains a pipeline of opportunities updated to meet or exceed all sales objectives. - Develops and maintains detailed customer/prospect records and ensures that the relevant sales tools reflect this information (e.g Sales Forecast & Territory Plan) Your requirements: - Minimum BSc or Master within Life Sciences or other areas - Experience in a sales role is beneficial but not essential - Must be based in Italy for this remote position - Fluency in, English and Italian (mandatory) - CV in English - Strong tele sales and communications skills to effectively discuss customer's needs to sell services by telephone with occasional site visits (up to 25% travel) - Strong analytical skills to assess and prioritize sales opportunities and develop sales forecasts - Demonstrated solid organizational, time management and prioritization skills - Demonstrated success in forming inter-departmental relationships and excellence in oral and written communications skills - Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment - Good Microsoft Office Skills - SAP and Salesforce skills are beneficia
