Product Operations Director
Zone & Co
Role Description Zone & Co is scaling, and we need an architect to build our "Product Operating System." We are looking for a visionary Head of Product Operations who has seen "what good looks like" at a world-class technology organization but is hungry to build it from the ground up in a dynamic, unstructured startup environment. You will not just manage processes; you will serve as a force multiplier for the entire R&D organization. You will be the strategic right hand to product leadership, translating high-level business vision into operational reality. What You'll Do - Lead the strategic alignment and operational efficacy of the Product organization. - Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and GTM. - Introduce frameworks, data rigor, and leadership behaviors found in top-tier tech companies. - Build a culture of psychological safety, clear communication, and relentless execution. Architecting the "Product OS" - System Design: Design and implement a scalable "Product Operating System." - Strategic Rhythm: Own the cadence of the product organization (QBRs, Roadmap Reviews, Release Planning). Strategic Alignment & Visibility - Source of Truth: Define and own the "Single Source of Truth" for product data. - Executive Interlock: Act as a strategic advisor to the C-suite. Culture & Enablement - Continuous Learning: Institutionalize post-mortems and retrospectives. - Change Management: Lead the organization through growth and change. How You'll Do It - Architect and scale the end-to-end product lifecycle process. - Establish a sophisticated metrics framework for data-driven decision-making. - Dismantle silos between Product, Sales, and CS. - Transform "release management" into a strategic GTM advantage. - Evaluate and consolidate the product tech stack. Leadership DNA (Competencies) - Visionary & Strategic: Ability to see both the 3-year horizon and the details. - Empowerment over Micromanagement: Build systems for team autonomy. - Psychological Safety: Create an environment for risk-taking and diverse perspectives. - Influence Without Authority: Align cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals. What You'll Need - 8-10+ years in Product Operations or Product Management with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity. - Experience at a "Branded" / Tier-1 Tech Company (e.g., FAANG, Salesforce, Shopify). - Experience in a Start-up / Scale-up environment. - Deep familiarity with modern product frameworks. - Elite communication skills; able to distill complex operational challenges. Benefits - High-velocity, fully remote, global team. - High-trust flexibility, ensuring space to innovate and scale. - Support for life beyond the screen to focus on making a global impact. Join Our Global Mission Zone & Co is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We thrive on unique perspectives and strongly encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
