Mid Multimedia Designer
The Disruptors Den
• Design and assemble illustrations, either for static end-use or layered for later animation. • Design infographics and data visualizations for learning material. • Develop interactive designs, interfaces and animations for learning. • Design new and correctly utilize existing templates for client CI elements, such as presentations, documents, and email collaterals. • Design new and utilize existing motion graphic elements, such as video branding templates and kinetic typography overlays. • Storyboard and animate 2D vector graphics, including character animation. • Edit video and audio footage into cohesive and engaging learning material. • Re-brand existing graphics, videos, and animations into new styles. • Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency in all your work. • Perform strict quality control checks on your own and other team members’ work. • Enact changes to your work based on the provided feedback. • Demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work to strict deadlines and the ability to think and work independently. • Act as a team player, providing support and feedback to peers, as well as contributing to the processes and ways of work of the team. • Manage your time efficiently, and prioritize effectively when working on multiple tasks and/or projects.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or 3-year diploma in multimedia design, graphic design, animation, motion design or similar.
- 3-5 years of agency or in-house studio experience.
- A strong multimedia portfolio displaying range across digital design, animation, video, and interactive mediums.
- High level of proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (E.g. Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro).
- Experience in and/or willingness to rapidly upskill in interactive design and animation software (Rive).
