Inspections Engineer

SGS

• Carry out inspection activities on client assets and equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards • Support examinations and assist with identifying defects, wear, or non-conformance • Produce accurate inspection reports and maintain documentation • Work closely with experienced engineers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service • Liaise with clients on site, ensuring clear communication and professionalism at all times • Adhere to SGS quality, health & safety, and integrity standards

Job Requirements

  • Background in mechanical engineering, maintenance, or inspection
  • HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Some experience within inspection, engineering, or regulated environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Full Driving Licence for use in the UK and willingness to travel
