Role Description Humane World for Animals, a global leader in animal advocacy and protection, is seeking a Program Manager+, Strategy and Planning for the Chief Strategy Officer. In this position you will support the development and implementation of a robust strategy and planning cycle for all parts of the organization. This position supports the strategy and planning team’s activities related to global strategy development, planning, resource allocation, implementation and monitoring and evaluation, as well as the integration of community building and belonging into all phases of the cycle. Works closely with all members of the strategy and planning team to achieve team goals and support adoption of strategy and planning processes across the organization. - Support development of global strategy and planning systems and processes; - Support implementation of complex, multi-departmental, cross-geographic strategy and planning projects; - Support implementation of the global community building and belonging strategy in national or team level processes, strategies or plans; - Support change management and capacity building across the organization to engage in strategy and planning processes; - Support the enterprise-wide strategy and planning cycle; - Perform other duties or responsibilities, as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; - A minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management, strategy and planning, nonprofit administration, or another related field required; - Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive; - Strong written and verbal communication skills; - Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member in a team environment; - Ability to multitask and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments; - Ability to exercise sound judgment; - Diplomatic and interpersonal skills to engage with international and domestic partners; - Attention to detail and commitment to excellence, demonstrated by the delivery of quality and timely outcomes; - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint; - Strong interest in animal protection issues preferred.
