Construction Program Manager
Ameresco
• Provide oversight and leadership for administrative and technical management of construction projects delivering energy savings for government customers. • Partner with Engineering and Construction Team in project design and development. • Assure engineering, pre-construction and construction teams coordinate with vendors and subcontractors. • Provide ongoing project status updates to senior management throughout development and construction. • Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application. • Lead project implementation of site safety and health program, quality control program, operations and maintenance manuals, and training activities. • Manage project teams and resources, including expenditures and job cost accounting processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years in construction management with at least (5) years working on federal projects or complex facility infrastructure construction.
- Experience with several energy efficiency disciplines: direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements.
- Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations.
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project.
- Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.
