Manager, Key Accounts – Space OEMs

• Build strong working relationships and develop plans to grow sales at large and complex end user accounts • Elevate current relationships to higher executive levels • Lead front end negotiation, implementation and execution of customer agreements • Calls on and develops C-suite-level relationships with existing and new customers • Identify, influence, and lead mutual beneficial projects with key national accounts • Work with assigned accounts to follow through on agreed upon objectives • Determine competitive share opportunities and create plans to win share • Develop and execute plans to deliver the strategy for the key account • Map and identify opportunities to strengthen the relationships between 3M and the account • Implement best practices across multiple locations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of experience selling to large complex end user accounts in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Experience working with and through large national distribution channels
- Master’s degree in business or marketing from an accredited university
- Seven (7) years’ experience with strategic key account management
- Experience and demonstrated success in representing 3M products
- Experience in space or aerospace markets
- Experience in negotiating and managing agreements
- Demonstrated strong collaboration and networking skill set
- Knowledge of 3M’s business areas, products, technologies and structure
- Experience engaging with and influencing executive levels of organizations
