Area Manager – North Germany

• Support and oversee sales agents across the Central–Northern Germany region to ensure strong market coverage. • Coordinate sales activities, provide guidance, and accompany agents on customer visits when required. • Manage and develop distributors through joint visits, product training sessions, and business reviews. • Conduct direct sales activities in underserved or uncovered areas within the territory. • Acquire new customers while nurturing and consolidating existing business relationships. • Manage large and strategic accounts within the region. • Continuously monitor market trends in the artisan gelato and wider foodservice sectors. • Identify opportunities and risks and communicate actionable insights to management. • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and visit summaries to the Sales Director for Germany and Austria.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record in sales within the food industry, preferably in foodservice.
- Prior experience in the artisan gelato market is a strong advantage.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate with agents, distributors, and key customers.
- Strong analytical mindset and market-oriented approach.
- Highly autonomous with strong organizational skills and a goal-oriented work style.
- Comfortable managing a large territory and willing to travel extensively.
- Native-level German and good command of English; Italian is a plus.
