The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of both cloud system administration and software systems, and an eagerness to learn about network management and data architecture. Your contributions will help maintain infrastructure performance, support system security, support application development, and learn to provide solutions that align with business needs. This is a learning and growth-oriented role that requires basic technical skills, an analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to learning. Key Responsibilities: - System Support and Analysis: Assist in reviewing system logs and identifying potential basic issues within hosted environments on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, under supervision. - Implementation and Maintenance: Support the implementation of new and existing products and assist with upgrades to existing client implementations. Help maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. - Troubleshooting and Support: Provide basic support across the organization. Troubleshoot common issues that arise in everyday operations, ensuring minimal downtime, addressing everyday needs of the business, and learning business continuity procedures. - Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security solutions to protect systems from basic cyber threats. Learn about infrastructure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. - Project Support and Collaboration: Participate in both IT and application projects, assisting senior team members and learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Documentation: Assist in creating and updating documentation for system deployments, changes, and upgrades; maintain operational, configuration, and other procedural documentation as required. - Capacity Planning: Learn about capacity planning and assist in gathering data for performance enhancement. Education and Experience: - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. - 0-2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar entry-level role. - A demonstrated interest in IT infrastructure and systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant certifications in cloud technology. - Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
