Ampact

• Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality tutoring programs by supporting AmeriCorps members, engaging partner sites, and driving program outcomes. • Foster strong relationships with schools, members, and internal teams to maintain program integrity, ensure compliance with AmeriCorps regulations, and achieve positive student results. • Provide coverage across regions as needed, supporting member cohorts, sites, and operations during transitions, vacancies, or periods of increased demand. • Contribute to cross‑functional projects and special initiatives that support program quality and growth. • Monitor member performance, service hours, and professional growth; address concerns promptly and professionally. • Facilitate and deliver member training sessions and onboarding activities. • Conduct regular site visits and check-ins to ensure smooth program implementation, address challenges, and foster engagement. • Track compliance requirements, including member hours, paperwork, and evaluations; approve timesheets and provide corrective guidance as needed. • Represent Ampact at community events, job fairs, and site visits to promote awareness and engagement with AmeriCorps programs.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of program management or implementation experience, ideally in a non-profit setting.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; able to mediate conflict and exercise sound judgment.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Professional communicator with strong listening, public speaking (preferred), and writing skills.

Role Description To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Responsible for developing and enhancing hardware service processes with a focus on internal and external customer relationships through prompt, efficient, and proactive action. - Directly support Hardware Service leadership in the implementation of operational initiatives intended to meet the needs of internal and external customers. - Focus on project management, hardware management, and communication to the customer, service providers, and counterparts within the organization. - Coordinate and follow up on certain aspects of hardware repair service from the initial receipt of service inquiry through the repair process. - Maintain and update service database and required documentation at all times. - Plan and assist in the implementation of solutions related to operational enhancements and initiatives. - Provide guidance and direction to the Hardware Service Coordinators and Service Technicians as required. - Ensure all hardware products are fully traceable from the time of shipment, maintaining correct warranty records and full details of product configuration in the service database. - Review the effectiveness of inside sales activities and work with sales and marketing teams to develop product offerings. - Follow and enhance all relevant SOPs and Service database procedures, proactively suggesting and developing improvements to processes. - Write and submit Change Orders for amendments to documentation or new requirements. - Assist in the development of various management information/failure analysis and sales program agreements from the Service database for review. - Assist in product development of new versions of existing or new capital equipment activities. - Coordinate subcontractor/vendor communication and payments related to service. - Possess the technical abilities to perform service as needed, focusing on field-based scenarios and training initiatives. - May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor's Level of Degree in Business, Business Management, Engineering, Operations, or Marketing preferred. - 5 - 8 years of demonstrated experience in hardware service required. - Strong customer-facing skills. - Able to work in a productive and collaborative manner with colleagues and within multi-functional teams. - Proven ability to lead, guide, and motivate a team. - Excellent organization skills, flexibility, and commitment to working in a quality environment. - Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple and changing priorities. - Ability to write and communicate effectively. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Exceptional interpersonal skills. - Exceptional organizational skills. - Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal). - Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
