Job Description The dotCMS Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-level content management solutions using the dotCMS platform. The architect works closely with development teams, providing guidance on best practices, integration strategies, and system upgrades. Key Responsibilities - Lead the technical design and architecture of dotCMS implementations for web and digital solutions. - Work with business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable solutions. - Develop integration strategies with third-party systems, APIs, and legacy platforms. - Establish standards for coding, deployment, and system maintenance to ensure quality and reliability. - Mentor and support developers, reviewing code and assisting with troubleshooting complex issues. - Stay current with dotCMS updates and industry best practices to recommend improvements and new features. Qualifications Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred. - Proven experience architecting and implementing solutions with dotCMS or similar CMS platforms. - Strong expertise in Java, RESTful APIs, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Experience with cloud hosting environments, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. - Knowledge of security standards and performance optimization for web applications.
