Job DescriptionWe are seeking an International Inside Sales Representative (IISR) who will liaise directly with Sales Directors, the Sales Administration team, Sales Engineering, and other team members to support a wide range of sales-related activities, embracing a culture of problem-solving, creativity, and a willingness to learn. This position reports to the Director of Sales Enablement, International and plays a key support role on the International Sales team, working closely with Sales Directors and the Sales Administration team to manage inbound inquiries, support requirement capture, respond to emergent requests for information, and assist in qualifying and tracking opportunities through the sales process. ​In addition, the role contributes to maintaining strong client relationships through consistent follow-up, clear communication, and proactive engagement throughout the customer journey . This position is eligible for 100% remote work, depending on location. Role & responsibilities: - Client & Sales Support: Act as an initial point of contact for international clients, capturing and organizing technical and programmatic requirements to enable handoff to the appropriate team members. Respond to urgent client requests and ensure timely coordination across internal stakeholders. ​Maintain ongoing communication with clients to provide updates, ensure alignment on expectations, and support a positive overall customer experience. - Proposal Development & Opportunity Tracking: Assist with preparing quotes and proposals, managing CRM updates, and monitoring opportunity progress. Review solicitations and RFIs to support early-stage qualification and capture planning. Support follow-up activities related to active opportunities to ensure continuity and momentum in client engagement. - Product Familiarity & Research: Maintain working knowledge of Silvus products to aid in internal alignment and customer communication. Support research on market trends, competitive activity, and international program developments as assigned. - Communication & Coordination: Help prepare presentation materials, organize web-based client discussions, and contribute to a seamless client experience by ensuring information flow between sales, operations, and technical teams. Proactively communicate relevant updates to clients, particularly in situations requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders. - Team Collaboration: Regular virtual interaction with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Legal. - Occasional Travel: Attendance at trade events, customer meetings, or team sessions at Silvus headquarters in Los Angeles may be required (approximately 5–10% of the time). Basic RequirementsRequired Qualifications: - Completion of secondary education (such as GCSEs or an equivalent national qualification; high school diploma or GED) is required. - Sales experience in a technology-related industry. - Fluency in German and English (written and spoken). - Proficiency in the use of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, email, and CRM systems for daily communication and collaboration. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and manage ongoing dialogue across different stages of the sales process. ​All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check. Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. - Demonstrated sales experience in a wireless, communications, or network systems industry. - Strong understanding of the applications for Silvus products within assigned territory. - Experience with client follow-up, coordination, or supporting customer-facing processes is considered an advantage. - Candidates with a background from the armed forces are encouraged to apply. Working conditions & physical requirements: - Outdoor environment for demonstrations. - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following: - Lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for the setup of demonstration and testing. - Manage the movement of large, suitcase-size Pelican cases (e.g., for travel, demonstrations, etc.).
