• The Sales Enablement Specialist plays a critical role in equipping the sales team with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to perform at their best • This position is responsible for driving adoption of systems, processes, and new functionality through targeted training development, clear documentation, and hands-on support • Support Sales Team Effectiveness • Position the customer-focused sales team for success by developing and maintaining deep CRM/ERP system knowledge, supporting system and process changes, and serving as a primary resource for tools, guidance, and adoption • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the sales team on CRM/SAP and related ERP tools, providing day-to-day guidance on system navigation, processes, and best practices • Support the sales team during system upgrades, new technology rollouts, and process changes by communicating updates, facilitating readiness activities, and serving as a go-to point of contact • Collaborate with Sales Enablement leadership to align on priorities, upcoming initiatives, and evolving sales team needs, ensuring timely and effective support • Assist the sales team with system and process questions during major program rollouts, including eCommerce, CRM/SAP enhancements, customer data projects, and other strategic initiatives • Drive Training and Development Initiatives • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs while maintaining up-to-date documentation to support ongoing learning • Develop and deliver role-specific training programs covering commercial processes, SAP workflows, and system functionality, ensuring the sales team has the knowledge and skills to perform effectively • Support onboarding of new sales team members by providing SAP and CRM system orientation, process walkthroughs, and access to training resources • Partner with Learning and Development as the Sales Enablement Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with team needs • Create and maintain clear, well-structured documentation, including job aids, quick reference guides, and process materials • Collaborate with Sales Enablement Leadership and Learning and Development to update training content in response to new technology releases, process changes, and evolving needs • Work with Learning and Development to determine the most effective delivery methods, including virtual, in-person, on-demand, and blended learning formats • Drive Adoption and Change Management • Guide adoption of new systems, processes, and tools by tracking engagement and providing targeted support • Monitor adoption of new technologies and processes, identifying gaps and delivering coaching, reinforcement, or additional training to support sustained behavior change • Gather feedback from sales team members to identify process pain points and share insights with Sales Enablement and Marketing leadership to support continuous improvement • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with Marketing Leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in goals, strategies, and overall sales team experience • Act as a liaison between sales team members and internal departments, facilitating communication and a coordinated approach to addressing needs and priorities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience in a sales environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Proven track record of training and communicating methods for system and process adoption strongly preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Strong aptitude for technology, including experience with internal database and software systems (e.g., SAP)
- Experience with database querying and/or business intelligence tools preferred.
