HOW A SOLUTIONS EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: - Lead winning solution development for growth opportunities - Perform solution scans and designing and estimating the cost of technical solutions that satisfy the requirements of growth opportunities. - Act as technical liaison between customer technical points of contact and GDIT project staff to facilitate IT strategic planning. - Work with business area directors and other division growth solution architects to develop and grow our technical enterprise, support GDIT’s Innovate Everywhere strategy and develop teams to support smaller business area lead growth opportunities. - Provide thought leadership and technical support to assist business areas and programs in retaining and growing both new and current work - Provide business area sector and leadership feedback by measuring the success of delivery and organic growth initiatives - Coordinate “reach back” with technical subject matter experts (SME) within GDIT to obtain specific knowledge or expertise to address technical issues. - Respond to technical questions and research requests from customers and programs. Perform business case analysis to support decision making process. Build and maintain relationships across all GDIT business units to ensure alignment with program capture, program execution, and other line of business services. - Understand impact of internal decisions on customer & vendor relationships & plans accordingly - Build & maintain relationships with key vendor partners to incorporate technology & capability Sector growth pipelines. - Actively identify, monitor and incorporate industry & vend - Balance the resource assignments of team to support volume of opportunities within the assigned sector WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: - Education: Bachelor’s degree - Experience: 15+ years’ experience in Information Technology. 5+ years’ experience creating solutions for government proposals, including all layers of the IT stack. Strong knowledge of information technology and creating solutions for Health agency proposals, including all layers of the IT stack. - Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently or part of a cross functional team. Ability to lead projects & provide technical oversight to ensure alignment with strategic goals & objectives. Maintain technical proficiency by keeping current with the latest technologies, trends, standards, & products. Strong knowledge of government procurement and proposal processes. The likely salary range for this position is $187,179 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
