This role partners closely with product owners and development teams to build secure, reliable services and APIs that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase quality while contributing to a culture of technical excellence. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend and middle‑tier components using C# and SQL with a focus on performance and scalability. - Build and support APIs, services, and data access layers that integrate with internal and third‑party systems. - Participate across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment and production support. - Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold development standards. - Support releases, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long‑term solutions. - Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices within an Azure DevOps environment. - Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data privacy requirements, including healthcare regulations. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. - 5-8 years of backend or middle‑tier development experience using C#/.NET. - Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Experience with RESTful APIs, service‑oriented architecture, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure). - Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and supporting production applications. - Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required. Skills - Proficient in C#, .NET, SQL, and backend service development. - Experience with SSIS or similar data integration tools. - Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
