The Opportunity: The overall purpose of the Commercial Sales Executives role at Opentext, is to help customers use information to grow faster and be more efficient in an increasingly Digital World. They will help customers to transform and evolve their business to be competitive in the market. The Commercial Sales Team has responsibility for Opentext’s Mid-Market account space, working closely with Solution Consultants and the Partner Ecosystem. Presenting product solutions to meet customer needs, both to net-new prospects and existing install base customers. You are great at: - Prospecting and identify key decision makers within the targeted accounts. - Building and fostering new relationships to drive sales directly. - Leading as the point of contact, and more importantly sell and collaborate effectively with new and existing customers. - Creative solution-oriented individual that can easily identify potential and growth opportunities that others might miss. - Work collaboratively with Partners selling into their customer base. - Thrive in a challenging ecosystem and lifelong learner who possess a strong desire to achieve. WHAT IT TAKES: - Bachelor’s Degree required or trained in the Sales Profession - Thrive on being able to identify opportunities in your focus accounts list, install base and total addressable market within territory. - 3-5 years existing experience in software sales, ideally in a large corporate organisation. - Ability to quickly learn and become an expert on a new set of products, primarily focused on SaaS. - Understanding of strategic, tactical and consultative selling process - You are clear, articulate and confident in all forms of communication OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
