MuleSoft Developer Role Summary: We are seeking a MuleSoft Developer to build and deliver integration solutions as part of our accelerated service offerings. This role focuses on implementing API-led integrations, agent-enabled workflows, and platform configurations to support production-ready use cases within accelerated delivery timelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MuleSoft development, API design, and platform configuration, and is excited to work at the intersection of integration, data, and AI-driven architectures. Responsibilities: API & Integration Development - Design and develop System, Process, and Experience APIs using MuleSoft - Build integrations across enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, SaaS, legacy) - Implement event-driven and real-time integration patterns - Ensure APIs are reusable, secure, and aligned to architecture standards Agentic Integration Enablement - Implement APIs as tools for AI agents (MCP-aligned exposure patterns) - Support agent-driven workflows by enabling system interaction via APIs - Collaborate on A2A (agent-to-agent) interaction patterns where applicable - Integrate with LLM-based systems and AI services where required Platform Configuration & Deployment - Configure MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components - Install and configure Flex Gateway for API management and governance - Implement API policies, security, and traffic management - Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Data Integration - Integrate with Data, Data Cloud, and/or Informatica platforms - Enable data flows that support trusted, contextual data for AI use cases - Work with structured and semi-structured data across systems Observability & Monitoring - Implement monitoring for: - API performance - Integration flows - AI-related interactions (where applicable) - Support usage monitoring and logging patterns - Ensure solutions are production-ready with proper logging and error handling Project Delivery - Contribute to accelerated delivery of a production-ready use cases - Participate in agile delivery cycles, demos, and validation sessions - Collaborate closely with the MuleSoft Architects Required Qualifications: - 3–6+ years of experience in MuleSoft development - Strong experience with: - API design and development - REST/SOAP integrations - DataWeave - Experience working with Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Runtime Manager, API Manager) - Experience integrating with enterprise systems and APIs - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Ability to work in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments - High attention to quality and production readiness - Collaborative mindset with architects and stakeholders - Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Flex Gateway installation and configuration - Familiarity with API security and policy management - Exposure to: - AI/LLM integrations - MCP concepts or API exposure for AI tools - Event-driven architectures - Experience with Salesforce, Data Cloud, and/or Informatica Thunder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer, and is deeply committed to building and supporting our diverse team through inclusive, equitable hiring practices.
