Learning Experience Designer (LXD) & eLearning Development

Independent Learning Experience Designer (LXD) & eLearning Development Consultant We are seeking independent contractors to provide learning experience design and eLearning development services on a project or per hour basis, supporting customer education and product adoption initiatives. Scope of Services - Design and develop digital learning assets, including eLearning courses, microlearning, blended programs, and instructor-led materials - Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend instructional strategies, formats, and sequencing - Create learning design documentation (objectives, outlines, storyboards, scripts, and assessments) - Develop interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise - Produce and integrate multimedia elements (audio, video, animation, graphics) as required - Publish and test content for LMS delivery (e.g., SCORM/xAPI), ensuring functionality and tracking accuracy - Perform quality assurance (QA) to validate usability, accessibility considerations, and design alignment - Review feedback and revise deliverables based on agreed project requirements - Maintain organized project files required to support delivery, revisions, and handoff per contractual requirements - Collaborate with client stakeholders as needed to gather inputs and validate learning requirements - Communicate risks, assumptions, or scope considerations that may impact project delivery Minimum Experience & Capabilities - Demonstrated professional experience delivering learning design and eLearning development services - Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies - Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise (Vyond experience preferred) - Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet agreed milestones independently - Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with client stakeholders - Experience developing learning for remote or distributed audiences Nice-to-have - Adobe After Effects experience - Experience with learning management systems - Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) Location: Remote (any city, province or state in the U.S.A & Canada) Engagement Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: Hourly or fixed-fee arrangement, invoiced based on services Tools and Equipment: Contractor provides their own tools and workspace
