Department Overview Motorola Solutions company is seeking a high-energy Sales Manager to lead our Theatro Account Management and Retention efforts. This is a critical leadership role for a "player-coach" who is eager to manage a team of 3 to 4 professionals while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day account activities. Job Description As a leader within our enterprise sales organization, you will help bridge the gap between initial customer acquisition and long-term service excellence. You will directly influence the growth of our SaaS/HaaS model, which connects frontline retail employees through cutting-edge mobile communication and AI-powered voice platforms. You will be responsible for driving account strategies, securing contract renewals, and owning the application up-sell forecast. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3 to 4 Account Managers, ensuring they meet retention targets and growth objectives. - Player-Coach Mentality: Willingness to "jump in" and help drive forward account activities, participate in high-stakes client meetings, and assist in navigating complex enterprise environments. - Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to ensure long-term customer health and operational alignment. - Revenue Ownership: Own the up-sell forecast for advanced applications and oversee the entire contract renewal lifecycle. - Customer Advocacy: Act as the "voice of the customer" internally, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to inform roadmaps based on real-world feedback. Qualifications & Experience - Experience: Proven track record in Sales Management or Senior Account Management, specifically within an enterprise environment. - Industry Knowledge: Strong experience selling to retail enterprise clients is highly preferred. - Strategic Execution: Demonstrated ability to build business cases based on ROI metrics such as labor efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement. - Operational Discipline: Experience managing complex SaaS and hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) models. - Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to command a room of C-suite retail executives. Location & Travel Requirements: - Travel will be up to 50% of the time. - Candidates can live anywhere in the United States Target Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Responsibilities will include prospecting and maintaining all segments in the assigned territory including, but are not limited to; Long Term Care, Assisted Living and Memory care for ESSITY North America Incontinence (INCO) business. This role will be part of a regional team to grow the healthcare business by targeting independent facilities and facilities within regional and national chains. Primary focus will be selling and maintenance and will report to the Regional Sales Manager. This will be a remote position responsible for covering Central Illinois, Missouri and surrounding territories. The ideal candidate should be located within the aligned territory and have ability to travel often. What You Will Do - Prospect new business and convert, up sell, and maintain all independent business. - Maintain and provide service to all independent Essity buying facilities. - Work closely with Regional Key Account Manager to install all newly acquired facilities for chains. - Manage relations and build rapport with all distribution reps and all end user facilities within territory. - Target existing accounts for opportunities with premium products and line extensions - Drive growth and profitability through leveraging the entire product assortment and appropriate pricing strategy. - Build rapport and prospect with assigned distribution, GPO and Essity counterparts. - Work with Revenue Management on new business opportunities to ensure appropriate pricing/terms. - Support facility level customer business reviews. - Manage relationships with GPO and distribution sales representatives. - Plan and attend local/territory trade shows. - Cross training with the clinical representatives - Business plan development and execution via quarterly business reviews with distribution partners and regional end customers - Approximately eighteen (15) calls per week - Operate in a manner consistent with ESSITY’s beliefs and behaviors. - Maintain all organizational processes (CRM system, Expense Management System, etc.) - Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.
