Full TimeRemoteTeam 5,001-10,000

About the Role We're looking for someone with hands-on residential electrical experience who wants to transition into a more technical, system-driven role. Instead of working in the field full-time, you'll evaluate projects remotely—reviewing photos, videos, and customer information to develop installation plans and proposals, primarily for EV charging and residential electrical work. This role sits within the Scoping Operations team and is critical to ensuring every project is installation-ready before it reaches the field. You'll use your electrical knowledge daily, just from a laptop rather than a job site. This is not a strict 9–5 role. Most weeks average around 40 hours, but workload may vary based on project volume. During high-demand periods, additional time may be needed to keep projects moving, with flexibility when volume is lower. Responsibilities The Virtual Electrical Estimator will: - Review project requests in HubSpot, including customer-submitted photos, videos, and site details and assess residential electrical setups—panels, circuits, and layouts—to determine the correct installation approach - Create clear, detailed scopes of work and project proposals that give the installation team everything they need to execute without surprises - Flag missing or unclear information early, coordinateing with internal teams or customers to resolve it before a project moves forward - Keep project records organized and up to date within HubSpot, ensuring clean handoffs and a reliable paper trail - Use AI-assisted workflows and internal systems to process projects efficiently and maintain quality at volume. - Operate within established SLAs and contribute to a "first-time-right" culture by minimizing errors and reducing the number of back-and-forth touches per project Minimum Qualifications Successful candidates will demonstrate: - Hands-on experience in residential electrical work (apprentice, helper, or similar - licensure NOT required) - Solid understanding of panels, circuits, and basic installation practices - Comfort and willingness to work on a computer for the majority of the day Preferred Qualifications Additionally, candidates may demonstrate: - Tech-savviness and open to using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to work more efficiently - Experience in EV charging or residential solar/electrification projects - Prior experience in a remote or systems-based operations role - Familiarity with structured workflows, SLAs, and/or quality control processes - Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset - Ability to learn and operate within CRM and workflow tools (HubSpot experience a plus) This role may be based in Chicago, Denver, the San Francisco Bay Area, or remote depending on the candidate's experience. This role will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. The salary range for this position is $60,000-75,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate of what Treehouse may pay for a new hire; actual pay may vary based on prevailing wages in geographic location and a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required job qualifications. Featured benefits include: - Medical insurance - Vision insurance - Dental insurance - 401(k) - Unlimited paid time off
