Territory Account Manager

• Achieve sales targets by converting prospective direct and indirect customers • Generate product demand by identifying and meeting with electrical engineers, buyers, project managers and specifiers — including panel builders, system integrators, installers and OEMs — in the industrial and commercial electrical markets • Effectively promote (new) products by demonstrating our value propositions and highlighting product benefits for each application and market segment • Guide the use and best practices for nVent ERIFLEX products and coordinate responses to queries from end users, product specifiers and other partners • Coordinate relationships among target end users, strategic accounts, distribution partners and nVent • Negotiate contracts and agreements with transactional accounts in collaboration with the channel sales team, in compliance with pricing and product management guidelines • Deliver regular technical presentations, training seminars and provide on-site support • Collaborate with the distribution sales team to define and implement penetration strategies based on customer segmentation • Analyze the opportunity funnel and report sales activities and wins in the Salesforce CRM platform
Job Requirements
- Master's degree, preferably an engineering degree, or more than 10 years' experience in the electrical industry
- Previous experience selling technical products, ideally in the electrical sector
- Experience in electrical switchboards/panels and/or transformer and busbar/trunking applications
- Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, preferably Salesforce.com
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a consistent record of producing measurable results
- Ability to work within defined processes and recommend improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the organization
- Demonstrated energy, motivation and persistence, particularly in the face of resistance or setbacks
- Dynamic, highly motivated personality and an excellent team player able to build relationships easily
- Business-level English is a plus
