Role Description As a Bug Verification Engineer, you will act as the vital bridge between our global community of users and our engineering team. You are a technical investigator who thrives on turning vague, complex bug reports into clear, actionable data. In this role, you will relentlessly pursue the root cause of reported defects, simplify complex user environments into minimal reproducible test cases, and advocate for the user experience in discussions with Development and Product Management. Responsibilities - Defect Triage & Verification : Review incoming bug reports from users and support channels to verify their validity and impact. - Test Case Simplification : Analyze complex user-submitted scenarios and distill them into the minimal repeatable test cases for the development team. - Root Cause Analysis : Investigate system logs, configurations, and SQL execution plans to identify exactly where a failure occurs. - User Advocacy : Communicate directly with users and support engineers to gather missing details, provide status updates, and clarify feature specifications. - Collaboration : Work closely with developers to explain reproduction steps and assist in the verification of hotfixes and patches. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in software testing or technical support - Exceptional Analytical Skills : The ability to take a complex system failure and isolate the specific factors that cause the crash or error. - Database Expertise : Good understanding of MariaDB Server (or other RDBMS) and proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, and schema design). - OS Proficiency : Deep "command-line" comfort with Linux, with the ability to navigate Windows and MacOS environments. Familiarity with docker, AWS, google cloud. - Communication : Strong written English skills, specifically the ability to translate technical jargon into clear instructions for both users and developers. - Scripting : Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Perl) to automate the setup of reproduction environments. Role Description ProArch is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer - Manual to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual testing on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will collaborate with developers and product owners to identify, document, and resolve defects.
