Manual Test Engineer
ProArch
Role Description ProArch is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer - Manual to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual testing on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will collaborate with developers and product owners to identify, document, and resolve defects. Responsibilities: - Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality - Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans - Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing - Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect-tracking tools - Work closely with developers, product owners, and BA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues - Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure defect resolution - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments - Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices - Provide regular test status updates and detailed test reports Qualifications - 4–5 years of proven experience in Manual Software Testing - Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC - Excellent knowledge of testing types and methodologies - Hands-on experience with test case design techniques - Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps) - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Good understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Requirements - Exposure to API testing (Postman or similar tools) - Knowledge of basic automation concepts - Experience testing web-based and/or enterprise applications - Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALM Benefits - Flexible work schedules - Encouragement of work-life harmony - Opportunities for professional development through Career Pathways - Positive, inclusive, and respectful work culture - Volunteer efforts and charitable initiatives - Recognition programs for extraordinary efforts
