Role Description The Operation and Sales Manager is responsible for executing and coordinating the daily sales and operational activities that ensure Vertex Fleet’s parking facilities run smoothly. This is a highly hands-on, execution-focused role centered on daily inventory management, customer service, billing, collections, and active B2B and B2C sales efforts. The position serves as the operational link between customers, internal operations, and parking facilities, ensuring availability is accurate, payments are collected, and customers are properly supported. Key Responsibilities - Operations & Inventory Management - Track and update daily parking inventory across all locations. - Monitor customer arrivals and departures. - Maintain accurate, real-time occupancy and availability records. - Coordinate with on-site managers regarding customer movements and space utilization. - Billing & Collections - Create and send invoices to both B2B and B2C customers. - Follow up on outstanding and past-due payments. - Conduct outbound collection calls. - Process payments and maintain organized billing records. - Resolve customer billing inquiries and payment issues. - Sales & Customer Acquisition - Handle inbound sales calls from drivers, fleets, and brokers. - Conduct outbound sales and prospecting calls. - Qualify leads and convert prospects into paying customers. - Perform outreach in markets where Vertex Fleet does not yet have facilities. - Build and maintain strong relationships for customer retention and referrals. - Actively use social media and marketplaces to generate B2C customers. - Administrative & Coordination Support - Respond promptly to emails and customer inquiries. - Support general administrative tasks as needed. - Keep CRM and internal systems updated. - Work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment. Qualifications - 2–3 years of experience in sales, operations, or coordination roles. - Experience with invoicing, collections, and payment follow-ups. - Strong outbound calling and communication skills. - High organizational skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office. - Self-motivated and results-oriented. - Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
